Emma Wilson is an economist and Head of Regulatory, Policy and Markets at Powerco. She leads the company’s regulatory strategy, policy engagement, and market development activities, helping shape the frameworks that underpin investment in critical infrastructure.

With more than a decade of experience across industry, regulatory agencies and consulting , in New Zealand and the UK, she brings deep expertise in the economic regulation of utilities. Her experience spans energy, telecommunications, water, and other regulated sectors, giving her a broad perspective on the regulatory and market challenges associated with electrification and the energy transition.
